Seagrove is one of the largest potter communities in the United States. Traditional pottery has been made in the Seagrove area since the late 1700's, and is the home to over one-hundred different potters. All styles of pottery and ceramic art are represented, perfect for the casual shopper or the serious collector. Along with countless pottery studios and galleries scattered on NC Hwy 705, Seagrove is also the home of The North Carolina Pottery Center. A great place to view exhibits, learn the history of local potters and purchase local work.
